What you type into the calculators

Nothing. Every calculation on this site runs inside your own browser using JavaScript. The numbers you enter — prices, weights, wattage, hours — are not transmitted to us, not stored on a server, and not logged. If you close the tab, they are gone.

What is collected automatically

Like almost every website, this site is served through a hosting and content delivery network that records standard technical request data: IP address, browser and operating system type, referring page, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to serve pages, keep the site available and detect abuse. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Third parties described below may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the calculators will continue to work because they do not depend on cookies.

Advertising

This site may display advertising supplied by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info. Where required by law, a consent notice is shown before non-essential cookies are set.

Analytics

If an analytics service is active on this site, it is used in aggregate form only to understand which pages are useful and where the site breaks. Analytics data is not used to build a profile of you as an individual, and it is not sold.

Affiliate links

Some links to products point to retailers or marketplaces through affiliate programmes. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may record that the visit came from this site, and we may receive a commission. The price you pay is not affected. The retailer's own privacy policy governs what happens on their site, and we have no access to your account or order details there.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information through the calculators and do not run accounts, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, contact us and we will look into it.

Children

This site is aimed at adults working with 3D printers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
