1. What this site provides
Filament Cost Calculator provides free, browser-based calculators and explanatory articles about the cost of FDM 3D printing. The output of a calculator is an arithmetic result derived from the values you enter. It is not a quotation, an invoice, a valuation or a guarantee of profitability.
2. Your inputs are your responsibility
The calculators perform the operations shown in the formula on each page. Accuracy of the result depends entirely on the accuracy of the numbers you enter and the assumptions you choose. Default values are illustrative examples, not market data, and they are expected to be replaced with your own figures. You are responsible for verifying any figure before you rely on it commercially.
3. No professional advice
Nothing on this site constitutes financial, accounting, tax, legal or business advice. Decisions about pricing, quoting customers, or running a business are yours. If you need advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
4. Third-party figures and links
Where pages refer to a supplier price, platform fee, electricity tariff or product specification, that figure belongs to the third party and can change without notice. We aim to state clearly when a number is an example rather than a confirmed rate. External links are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or practices.
